Turning my attention to the narrative again, I started storyboarding one of the stories I had come up with. A brief overview of the story can be read here. This helped me decide what should be shown on which medium as I could see everything that needed to be shown.
Again, I made diagrams to show this as I felt it could get the point across better and show me what needed more content.

This practice actually helped me build up the story as well because I had to think up more content for the different areas. I could also see what mediums were slightly lacking in content and add to them, enriching the story further.
I created relationships between the mediums, for instance, passwords would need to be seen on some before accessing parts of the website. These parts would not be central to the plot though so progression through the story would still be possible.
The research I carried out into narrative theory and narrative across mediums made my concept and story stronger and made me feel confident I was going down the right path.
