Attack Cards
There are in total 48 Attack Type Cards. Unlike the other cards in the game the attack cards vary in type. There are 3 types of attack cards: Global, Local and Room.
G – Global cards can be used anywhere on the board L – Local cards must be played next to other inmates in the game R – Inmate must be inside a room
Action points required to play an attack card are between 1 and 4.
The attack cards require action points to be played and the number of action points required to play the card varies. The action points required to play an attack card and the type of card is displayed on each attack card.
Defence Cards
Defence cards are often played in response to an attack card. No action points are required by an inmate to defend themselves. If an attack card is played against you then you can respond with a defence card assuming you have the proper counter.
There are certain defence cards that allow you to setup defence for yourself, such as stopping inmates coming within 2 spaces of yourself or preventing inmates from attacking you. These cards cost no action points, as they are defence cards.
