Welcome to Utility, an honours project by Andrew Mays for Interactive Media Design at the University of Dundee, Scotland.

 

Section Overview:

Concept:
Reasoning behind the project, aims and inspirations, functional and non-functional requirements, initial concepts.

Research:
Inspirational devices, background research and analysis.

Scenarios:
Use Case Scenarios, why/how would different types of users interact with the device, who is the device useful for, differnet playing positions, output options.

Physical Development:
Aesthetic designs, device schematics, physical technologies, final design plans.

Technical Development:
Programming (PureData), individual PD elements explained, electronic developement, electronic circuits.

Prototype:
Currently in development.
