Speaking Poster

The speaking poster idea occurred when looking in to nuisance behaviour.  Often the perpetrators do not know how it feels for their victims.  The idea behind the poster is to make passers by aware of how it feels to be shouted at, therefore making them aware of an issue they may not necessarily think about.

The poster uses a sensor and speaker, as someone walks past the speaker it is activated and the poster begins to shout abuse at the passer by.  Although the poster is demonstrating anti social behaviour I feel that using this extreme method would affectively make people more aware of the issue.

Using sound in the poster will not only help to make people more aware of the issue but it will also help grab their attention.  When researching outdoor advertising I discovered that ad companies were moving away from traditional advertising and looking at more attention grabbing methods.  This is something that I have concentrated on when thinking of ideas.
