Pack evaluation

Having made several prototypes I thought it would be beneficial to gather feedback about the pack before finalising the design.  The feedback has helped me to establish positive and negative areas of the design.

I asked several people to interact with pack and comment on anything that they thought was good or bad about it. 

The majority of the feedback received was very positive. The overall size of the pack felt compact when holding it.  They also said that the compact size would also help when storing the pack and posting it through the door.  Comments were also made on the robustness of the pack, which they felt made it more realistic as a product.

One participant when interacting with pack commented on the position of the buttons.  When holding the pack they felt that the buttons could not be reached comfortable.  They suggested moving them slightly so that the buttons could be pushed while holding the pack.

I also questioned the participants on what they expected from the graphics.  Some expected the pack to be very informative and technical looking.  Others thought that it should use dark graphics to scare the person that is receiving the pack.  One aspect that all the participants commented on was that the buttons should be marked with play and record.  They also said that there should be clear instructions incorporated in the pack design.
