Based on the findings of this project I have outlined some basic requirements for a hypothetical design project. Although I don’t intend to advance these proposals any further I think it is important to sum up my discoveries and how these could assist in a critical design process.

The conclusions that I reached were to conquer the feeling of loneliness and anxiety, particularly in crowded places. This doesn’t cover every aspect of the research but the most important findings.

  1. To provide a friend to reassure.
  2. To make the crowd less threatening by revealing their fears and anxieties.
  3. To create a communication between people with similar fears and anxieties.
  4. To make people aware of anxiety in pubic spaces.
